Not a Joint Article

[edit]

This article is called JBLE, but is all about Langley, and the Eustis part is a separate article. If it's to be a joint article, we need to merge the 2 into a single article with redirects. Agree?DeknMike (talk) 11:36, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adjoining?

[edit]

"The legislation ordered the consolidation of the two facilities which were adjoining, but separate military installations, into a single Joint Base, one of 12 formed in the United States as a result of the law." Maybe I'm not seeing it, but where are they adjoining? Aren't they on opposite sides of the peninsula? This wording leads me to believe that the grounds of the former bases share a border. Article Name

[edit]

WP:AT Langley Air Force Base is not commonly referred to as Langley Field outside of specific historical context. Other active U.S. Air Force bases are titled as such regardless of historically having been called Field. I think this article should be renamed Langley Air Force Base.--66.87.128.129 (talk) 19:31, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A previous article already exists at Langley Air Force Base, which is currently a redirect. An administrator will have to make the move. - BilCat (talk) 18:34, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
